Today I went to Lowes and bought the wood I would need to make the shelves, thats right, I said shelves that will hold the 20 gallon long tank that we will call the Frag Pad, and the 2.5 gallon Micro Fuge refugium. The total cost was 25$ for both combined. That is super inexpensive. If you are unsure of what the plans are, you should go watch my live stream that details it out.
It’s important to be resourceful if you are going to save money in this hobby. Just because you don’t want to spend an arm and a leg doesn’t mean that you can’t have nice things, it may just take more work. That’s ok, the more work you put into something, the more you’ll appreciate it!
Be creative in your designs but make sure they are functional. The perfect blend will yield a visually unique and stunning piece of furniture that will hold up and be the talk of the… well.. probably not the town, but for sure Facebook groups and Instagramers lol.
I can’t wait to show it off in a future episode of RRTV. Be sure to Follow me on Facebook for pictures of the progress!
